HIGHWAY ONE
CALENDAR OF EVENTS

Schedule for late Summer/Fall 2008

Sunday, August 24

Sunday, September 28th

Sand Dollar Restaurant

3458 Shoreline Highway

Stinson Beach

Highway One plays on Highway 1! We'll be making the scenic, twisty trek over Mt. Tam to Stinson twice more this summer. (You can also take the coast route.)

The Sand Dollar has a nice outdoor patio with a raised area that makes a great stage. There are heaters for the fog and umbrellas for the sun. It's a great place to have a bloody mary or beer and some mussels while watching the world go by--all while listening to bluegrass, of course. Two more chances--no excuses!

We'll be playing from noon to 3:00 p.m. each time.

For more info, call (415)868-0434.

Saturday. August 9th

The Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival

San Benito County Fairgrounds

Tres Pinos

One of the very best festivals going--relaxed, uncrowded and friendly, with great after-hours jamming. GOF is THE annual homecoming for the area's bluegrass bands, new and old. Thanks to the NCBS for keeping this tradition alive!

The music runs from Friday, August 8th at 3:00 p.m. thru Sunday the 10th at 5:00 p.m. Highway One plays Saturday night at 9:00 p.m.

For more info, visit www.scbs.org

Saturday, September 6th

Sunday, September 7th

Brown Barn Festival

San Martin Country Park

San Martin

This fun festival was founded by the late, great Jake Quesenberry, and is being continued by the Quesenberry family in his honor. This year's lineup features a bunch of great NorCal bands--and Highway One, too! San Martin sits about halfway between Morgan Hill and Gilroy.

Jamming and camping start Friday the 5th; music runs from Saturday the 6th at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday the 7th at 5:00 p.m. Highway One plays Saturday at 3:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

For info or tickets, visit www.pleasantvalleymusic.com/BrownBarn/ or call (408)778-1050.

Saturday, October 11th

Mountain Parks Foundation

Lobster Feed

Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park

Felton

We always look forward to playing for the great folks at Mountain Parks during this annual fund-raising event. The Lobster Feed is held outdoors in a beautiful grove that's fragrant with redwood and bay laurel. Dinner features 1-1/2 lb. fresh Maine lobsters and all the trimmings.

Highway One usually plays from about 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.--when we're not eating lobster!

For more info, visit www.mountainparks.org or call (831)335-3174.
